LAHORE: Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that biggest threat for CPEC is the financial corruption of government.
Talking to media here on Sunday, he said “PML-N wants to abstain accountability in the name of democracy but we will not let it happen. We are demanding accountability due to national interests. The stunts and drama of India has been revealed before international community. How can betterment be expected from PML-N if they couldn’t even control load-shedding?”
“If Imran Khan will become Prime Minister of Pakistan then country will get rid of all problems and get recognition in international community.” Sarwar said that PML-N has made fashion of accusing Imran Khan for every failure while he is fighting for the national objectives and demanding accountability in Panama Leaks for betterment of future generations.
“Nations cannot sustain without system of justice and punishment and PML-N should understand that Pakistan cannot move ahead without accountability and eradication of corruption, load-shedding, unemployment and other problems need to be resolved.”
He said Pakistan Tehreek Insaf is completely supporting CPEC and it is not threatened by our peaceful and democratic protest but corruption based manifesto of PML-N. They will have to end their corruption program and PTI demands accountability and eradication of corruption.
