DOHA: President Mamnoon Hussain Sunday urged Pakistani youth to equip themselves with fast-evolving technologies.
“The invention of Internet has changed this world, and when you will take rein of affairs, it would have changed completely, confining into a small device (cell phone) which all of us are carrying in our hands today,” he told students at the Pakistan Education Centre (PEC) – a school run by Pakistan Embassy – in Qatar.
However, he cautioned them about the negative uses of these technologies. “I will advise you to learn about these technologies and commit yourself to use these for the benefit and welfare of mankind,” said the president, who is in Doha on a four-day official visit.
Mamnoon also called upon the Pakistani students to adopt positive approach and thinking and follow moral and spiritual values. He lauded services and hard work of teachers and the PEC staff for provision of quality education to Pakistani youth.
